It works to some extent. You should look other alternative.
i have seen it work with expired domains but i feel like relevance is the thing that gets overlooked. a domain with lots of backlinks will not be of much use if those backlinks were coming from a totally different niche. one clean nd relevant domain would be a better test than creating a massive redirect chain from scrratch.Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed that one of my competitors recently acquired an expired domain with a strong backlink profile and then 301 redirected it to their homepage. I would like to ask if this method, as mentioned earlier, is viable. Has anyone seen positive results from this approach? I’m considering building a network of expired domains to boost SEO, and I’d appreciate any insights on the effectiveness and potential risks of this strategy.
Thanks in advance!
Yess I have had redirects that looked gd on paper but moved the needle very little. Nowadays if there was a redirect i would take into account the content or subject matter from the old domain before any thing elses.Hi everyone,
