Well if your goal is to build credibility on Linked in, its better that you actually use proper profile image, upload a proper resume, and actually aim to build a good portfolio. These are important because people will actually view your profile as if its genuine.

i think should concentrate on being consistent with my activities.share whatever knowledge you gain interact with the posts of others, and update your profile from time to time.you do not have to know everything to establish your credibility you just have to be yourself and be consistent.

one of the things which worked for me was that i started writing about what i was learning and not about how much i knew like an expert. if u share little tips, mistakes, tools which you found helpful or results then people will have a reason to believe in your credibility.i would also suggest concentrating on one or two fields insstead of talking about everything.
I would begins by putting up some helpful content based on my own experience, even though there might only be a vrty few people who visit initially. Then focus on commenting on the posts in the niche I am interested in.
