Trade.io sold for $88K in 2021 and $75K in 2026. What changed?

Trade.io sold for $75,000 recently. The same domain sold for $88,000 in 2021, so this time it changed hands for $13K less.

It could be a different .io market now, or simply two deals made under very different circumstances. Do you think the lower price says anything about .io today?

earlier .io extension domains was on peak so it was getting paid good amount of money but these days its worth very low as compare 2021-2023

Thanks. That could be part of it. I also wonder how much of the startup crowd that used to go straight to .io is looking at .ai now.

one sale isn’t enough to prove a wider trend. the buyer, timing, and deal terms can easily explain it
