I've noticed I Don't see Reddit in Google search much at all now, since late last week.

Anyone else experiencing the same results?

Anyone else experiencing the same results?yea same here, noticed this on my aged accounts too. google traffic to reddit posts dropped pretty hard since late august, some stuff still ranks but way weaker than it was before. think google adjusted their algo or reddit's api changes are affecting how they index it

it's because of Google August Spam update.. they starta move away from reddit
ChatGPT too now cites Reddit less than before..
 
I still occasionally see a few Reddit posts appearing in search results. Most of them target niche keywords and are older posts.
 
Reddit is. still on the top of search page in some niches , i have a query about it . can you provide me a account which through i can post a link in a karma cooment , i just need some account for coomenting on reddit with link . i am attaching a pic about it . t

Reddit still shows up for me on specific questions, but not as much on broader searches.
 
they dont show up on non-google search engines as often, the drop in AI-citing traffic, is what is causing reddit to require forced logins for some browsers, other than forks.
 
Reddit’s licensing deals with major AI search engines definitely changed how public web traffic flows. Forcing logins for certain browsers is mostly their way to protect user data from unauthorized AI scrapers while keeping high value on their direct search deals
 
Yeah, I've noticed the same drop since last week — Reddit results seem less frequent in Google search now. Might be a temporary algo tweak or Reddit adjusting their crawl settings. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, I’m still seeing Reddit pages show up pretty regularly in Google. It seems to depend a lot on the keyword and how strong the thread is.
