Do YouTube videos still work?

Yes I agree If the first few seconds are boring people will probably leave no matter how good the rest of the video is

I don't think length matters that much either. If the video keeps giving you something interesting, people will stay
I've watched 30+ minute videos without a problem when the content is good, it's more about keeping people interested than the actual length

For sure, people still watch YouTube a lot, it really comes down to the content.

I agree that length itself isn't the main factor. A longer video can work well if it keeps delivering useful information or entertainment. Audience retention topic relevance and a strong structure probably matter more than simply aiming for a specific duration.

I watch education videos longer on YT. Rest all very less. There is audience for every niche. so it should work if the vidoe has the quality.

That's right; if a content creator produces an engaging video, its length no longer matters.

I do not think video length matters much as whether the creator keeps things interesting. I will happily watch a 30-minute video if every few minutes gives me something staying for.
Shorts video is the best

Sure, when you create the video, you need to focus on a hook for interesting the people. In the video, have something attractive that are staying long time.

Exactly. Length matters less than retention. If the video keeps giving people a reason to stay, 20–30 minutes can still work well.

Right, who wouldn't want to see something interesting? No matter how much I like the creator, if the content isn't engaging, I’m not going to waste my time on it.

Yes, it is necessary to retain viewers with attractive content, then a 30-minute video or even an hour is still attractive

Video length doesn't matter much if you keep it interesting.
I faced a problem while I was making videos. The niche was good enough. When I stated making long videos I was really frustrated!
