Yeah, i think the thumbnail usually has the bigger impact because it’s the first thing people notice. But a strong title still helps confirm the click. From what i understand ideally, they should work together rather than relying on just one.

i believe that both do but the thumbnail gets more attention initially since it is the first thing people see when they scroll through the feed. after that, a great title will give people a reason to click. in most cases, the best combination will be achieeved if the two are used together.
The thumbnail makes me pause my scroll bar but the title was the one that makes me to click. In my opinion those who does both well were considered the best.
Occasionally, even an ordinary thumbnail will gets more clicks compared to those fancy thumbnails. i just believe that making sure ur thumbnail and its accompanying watches reason match is more important than perfection.
