Before i paid a lots of attention to my number of followers. but now i can says that making videos people wants to watch till the end was a gud indicator of growth.

Focus on the first 3 seconds of the video—the hook is everything. If you can keep viewers watching past 3 seconds and maintain strong watch time, TikTok's algorithm will do the rest.

i wish i knew its not the visuals that just have to be very good, the content has to be sharebale and saveable. if i was making savable and shareable content all the way along my reach would have been 10x because the platform is highly pushing this kind of content. i figured out becasue when i look back most my well performing content is saveable and shareable

one thing i have learned is that it is far better to have the first few seconds count than to try to make each video perffect. u could have an amazing video but a bad beginning could ruin it. on the other hand, the right hook could keep someone from scrolling away.

if only I knew that tiktok is not so much about figuring out one perfect formula as it is about experimenting. i would try several variatiions of one concept with a different hook to see which version makes people watch. if it is engagement that u get from a particular form of content, keep using it. as for affiliate marketing on tiktok i would not spam all my posts with offers.
Previously, I had been obsessed with views but what made the difference were creating content that viewers would actually watch despite of the fact that the initial posts does not get many views at all.

Wishes i knew sooner that those first few seconds are more important than any fancy editing tricks. When the hook seems universal it tends to be boring to everyone lol.

I were actually spending time trying to make videos using those viral formats. Once i started creating videos for one specific type of customer even my low views count videos started getting clicks.
Absolutely agree. Diving into every single SEO trend is always a waste of time it is more beneficial to focus on one niche and work on it

i’d focus on learning what keeps people watching instead of chasing views or followers from the start especially for affiliate content one useful lesson for me was to test different hooks early and then build more videos around the topics that actually get watch time and engagement
