Its as if my X posts reach is somewhat limited so that I will purchase the boost feature out of frustration. Can someone advise what the problem could be. Also after purchasing premium I had an influx of Bots coming out of nowhere to follow me...

check if your link/media settings got flagged during the upgrade. often people buy Premium and immediately start posting longer text with external links, which hard-throttles reach. post pure text with zero links for 48 hours to clear the algorithmic lock

the bot influx is damaging your reach algorithmically. X suppresses posts if a large % of your impressions come from low-quality bot accounts that don't interact meaningfuly. block those bot accounts immediately and turn on 'Enhanced Spam Filtering' under your privacy settings

I wouldn’t buy boosts just because reach dropped. Could easily be temporary.
