It used to be a big deal for musicians. Curious if anyone still keeps a profile there for promotion or if other platforms have completely taken over.

Not for discovery or meaningful audience building anymore. Platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Spotify for Artists have completely taken over independent music promotion. MySpace is mostly legacy digital real estate at this point, so spending time there yields almost zero ROI compared to short-form video platforms.

There’s still some traffic there to be funneled, but obviously not as much as way back. A lot of users have moved on to other socials like TikTok, especially for your niche.

Other platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Spotify have taken over most of the promotional side, but MySpace can still work as a secondary channel for artists with the right audience.

wow, I didn't know that we have a subforum for Myspace in BHW.

For me, I guess there're better places where an artist be shown than Myspace.
