To host more than 3 blogs on WordPress with a total traffic of 100,000 visitors per month, a beginner is best suited for Managed WordPress hosting or cloud managed hosting. Regular cheap virtual (simple) hosting will not cope with the load and will block sites for exceeding resource limits. A regular VPS (virtual dedicated server) will technically solve the problem, but requires system administration skills (working through the console, setting up security, backups and updates yourself). This is too complicated for a beginner and can lead to hacking or crashing of sites

If you’re juggling more than a handful of blogs and traffic’s getting spicy, I’d say keep an eye on your database setup - splitting things with a separate database server or using managed MySQL takes off a lot of strain. Had way fewer hiccups after offloading search to Algolia, too. Some folks sleep on optimizing images, but squishing those down saves both speed and bandwidth headaches.

You can use dedicated server and VPS for hosting. If you have good budget you can start with VPS for multiple blogs with high visitors.

If you are expecting 100k+ traffic, VPS is your best option. Shared hosting is not bad but it can be a problem with high traffic. Buy a good VPS with at least 2gb ram and a good processor and you should be good

You know, 100k traffic a month looks big, but it's really only 138 requests per hour. Any reasonable shared hosting account can handle it just fine.

No need to go crazy, really. Just make sure you use a caching plugin, and you are all good.

If you're just starting out, I’d recommend keeping things simple rather than jumping straight into a VPS.

yeah that can work when hosting is solid. good caching makes a big difference when you managing multiple sites and helps keep things running smoothly.
