Are YouTube Playlists Still Useful?

Playlists still make sense, especially when the videos naturally follow each other. Someone finishes one and sees another related video right there, so there's a better chance they keep watching, not a game changer by itself, but definitely worth using.

yes i still find playlists useful especially when videos cover related topics and naturally lead into each other A good playlist can make it easier for viewers to watch multiple videos but the individual videos still need strong retention to keep people watching

To me, a playlist remains effective when viewed as a series rather than just a folder of videos. The first video must give viewers a reason to move on to the subsequent ones; if the videos lack cohesion or aren't interconnected, the playlist cannot be saved

Underrated when it comes to stacking time spent on a session and they might actually rank by themselves in searches if properly optimized.

Definitely still uses those for stacking session tym and they will even appear when you search sometimes if you keys them right.
