Since the World Cup prediction thread was fun, I thought it would be nice to run something similar for the Champions League too : )
The idea is simple.
I will update this thread with the fixtures for each Champions League matchday and anyone who wants can drop their score predictions before the matches start.
You don’t need to be a football expert to join. Just predict and have fun with it.
How it works:
- I will post the Champions League fixtures for each matchday.
- Predict the correct score for all the matches listed or only the ones you care about.
- Please try to keep all your predictions for that matchday in one post so it is easier to track.
- Predictions must be posted before each match kicks off.
- If a prediction is edited after that match starts, the prediction for that match may not count.
Scoring:
3 points = exact correct score
1 point = correct result
0 points = wrong result
Example:
If the match ends Arsenal 2-1 Bayern Munich:
Arsenal 2-1 Bayern Munich = 3 points
Arsenal 1-0 Bayern Munich = 1 point
Arsenal 3-1 Bayern Munich = 1 point
Arsenal 1-1 Bayern Munich = 0 points
Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich = 0 points
If the match ends Barcelona 2-2 Inter Milan:
Barcelona 2-2 Inter Milan = 3 points
Barcelona 1-1 Inter Milan = 1 point
Barcelona 0-0 Inter Milan = 1 point
Barcelona 2-1 Inter Milan = 0 points
Barcelona 1-2 Inter Milan = 0 points
Optional Champions League Winner Pick
Anyone who wants can also pick one team they think will reach the Champions League final.
This is separate from the normal match predictions.
Bonus points at the end of the tournament:
10 points = your picked team wins the Champions League
5 points = your picked team reaches the final but loses
0 points = your picked team does not reach the final
Multiple members can pick the same team.
Deadline: winner picks must be posted before the first Champions League game on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, kicks off.
After that, new winner picks will not be counted, and winner picks cannot be changed.
Knockout Matches
For knockout matches later in the season, prediction points will mainly be based on the full-time score.
Extra time and penalties will not count for exact score predictions.
However, if a knockout match is level after full time and one team later wins after extra time or penalties, anyone who predicted that winning team to win in normal time will still get 1 point for picking the team that eventually went through.
This is not an extra bonus point. It only means the prediction can still get 1 point in that situation.
Anyone who predicted the correct full-time draw will still get points based on the normal scoring:

1 point = correct full-time result
0 points = wrong result
After each matchday, I will post the results, shout out the top predictor(s) of the matchday and update the overall leaderboard.
Nothing too serious here. Just for fun, predictions and some Champions League banter.
