Does original content really matter that much on Facebook now?

Imo it matters more now, especially for reach. Reposting with minor edits seems less reliable, so adding your own angle, commentary, or genuinely new content is a safer approach.

Sure i believes it is more important than many people realises . even if u are using someone else’s idea putting in ur own spin on it or examples or film clips will usually makes it more original.

Original content will definitely be prioritized because anything new will always be valued more highly than copying and modifying the work of others. Creativity and copyright of original content are always highly valued.

Original content will always be more valuable on any social network. Growth will be much faster, and there will be far more opportunities to get promoted.
To me originality really counts when it makes the viewer pause on their scroll. u may get views from reposts but it was always the angle that you brings that gets people to comment or share.

Yeah, I think it matters more now. I try to add my own angle instead of just reposting stuff. Original content seems to get better engagement and gives people a reason to follow you.

I think you could give it a try. You'll see how many advantages original videos have. If we had more time, we would still prioritize producing original videos.

Yeah, i’ve started putting more focus on original ideas and editing instead of just reposting trends, coz it seems to have a better chance of building a real audience.
The imo original is becoming increasingly important, but it does not means that each piece of content has to be 100 percent unique. Even basic content will do as long as it has some value for its audience.

It definitely matters even more since they changed the flags for unoriginal content. getting demonetised or shadow banned because of aggregation was far too easy lately.
