Some methods can move a site pretty quickly but keeping the rankings is another story. What approach has actually been reliable for you?

Aggressive SEO may prove to be effective in the short run but the gains from it may not hold in the long run however i would concentrate on link building and creating good content.
 
steady results come from solid content, clean links, and not trying to force quick rankings.
 
Aggressive SEO can definitely push a site up quickly for short term projects but holding those rankings is always the tricky part. For quick churn and burn tiered links or PBNs work, but the penalty risk is high. What specific niche or project duration are you looking at?
 
Largely depends on the competition
In some cases, aged domains [with a clean history] are much more likely to get indexed faster
 
yes it can work but the problem is it has no worth for long term, for seo you must have patience so it needs patience and you can get better results, but if you are just trying tricks to get immediate results you can get but they will not long term

while aggressive SEO is effective in the short term i would rather goes for quick gains as opposed to maintaining rankings for too long. once the opportunity expires the same approach will proves quite risky.

For short-term projects, aggressive SEO can work, but it’s rarely reliable long term. I prefer a controlled approach with relevant links, strong content, and steady link velocity. Fast rankings are easy to chase; keeping them is the real test.
 
For me, sustainable growth comes from solid content, relevant backlinks and strong internal linking rather than quick tricks.

I’d rather grow steadily and keep the rankings than spike for a few weeks and disappear.
 
Fast techniques might appeal for short term projects, although i would opt to use approaches that correspond to the project time frame and risks there is not much point in performing a fast ranking which will disappear once the campaign starts to slow down.
 
Yes, aggressive SEO can still work if the goal is fast rankings and visibility. But the results can also disappear just as quickly. For long-term projects, you can build links slowly from relevant, quality sites with proper diversification.
 
For short-term churn-and-burn projects, aggressive tiered links work fast, but anything lasting past a few months needs safe structures or rentals to avoid penalties

For me, aggressive tactics move rankings quickly, but keeping them there is a different challenge. while long-term stability comes from consistently managing overall link profile, anchor distribution, velocity, and other signals rather than relying on single tactic.
