How to remove a Facebook page that defames my brand?

We’ve been building our brand for years... And now, most likely a competitor has created a Facebook page called "BRAND NAME + SCAMM", so whenever someone searches for our brand on Facebook, that page also shows up in the results claiming we are a scam. Facebook support hasn’t been helpful — does anyone have any ideas?
I've dealt with something similar before. If the page is using your brand name, the first thing I'd check is whether you have a registered trademark. Facebook tends to respond much faster to trademark and IP complaints than to standard support tickets.

I'd also document everything and submit multiple reports under impersonation, trademark infringement, and misleading content where applicable. If the page is inactive or low-engagement, it may eventually lose visibility, but if it's gaining traction, you may need to be more proactive.

Another thing worth doing is strengthening your branded presence on Facebook. Increase activity on your official page, encourage customer reviews, and publish content that clearly establishes your page as the authoritative brand account. In some cases, a well-documented legal notice from a trademark owner has been more effective than months of back-and-forth with support.

Out of curiosity, is the page actually posting evidence against your company, or is it simply using the "Brand Name + Scam" title to damage your reputation?

In my view, this is a rather difficult issue to resolve. Even if a page gets reported, a similar one simply pops up to replace it. It looks like a competitor has hired a third party to carry this out. I’d really like to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
