For a new blog, I’d expect the first few months to be pretty quiet. You might see some impressions and small traffic earlier, but consistent traffic usually takes a few months. I’d focus more on good content first, then start building links once you have some solid pages worth pushing.
I think it completely depends heavily on the niche you started, It also depends on competition quality of site and how much useful content you publish on your site. If your content is genuine and original and proved helpful for the people then I think 3 to 6 months it can take to get organic traffic. It can take more time also than that its totally depends upon the content and site quality and consistency. I also importance the content over backlinks. You should build a solid base of useful low competition articles first after this you can start building relevant backlinks.

it depends i believe, on the type of niche that u are targeting nd the competitiveness of ur chosen keywords.u should be able to get some impressions quite soon but it is going to take longer to get traffic consistently as google has to have time to index and understand the site. personally i would try nd focus on one partticular topic in the beginning.

Since organic rankings take time, I believe that new sites should concentrate more on regularly producing useful, keyword-relevant material rather than racing for backlinks.

If you're doing everything properly, a new blog takes around 3 to 6 months to start getting consistent organic traffic. There's no guarantee on this, it might even take longer.
