Is X (Twitter) still a reliable platform for organic reach and traffic in 2026?

I think X still works but consistency alone isn't enough. the content needs to give people a reason to stop and respond.

I also want to know how X's traffic is and see if we can compare it with Facebook

I think X can still work well fore organic traffic in 2026 but quality matters more than posting nonstop.

Posts with links even non affiliate ones tends to get ghosted by the system.

Still works but quality matters more than posting nonstop. Consistent posts and real conversations seem to help.

X still works imo, but the easy reach days seem gone. A good thread can still pop off if the topic hits the right audience.

@Lookers I saw your comment about growing an X account by 10K followers in one month through niche-relevant posts and fan-made videos.

Was this growth achieved on your own account, or do you also offer this as a service for clients?

I'm researching fully manual organic growth for a finance/crypto account. No purchased followers, automation, engagement pods, mass DMs or follow/unfollow.

If you take clients, could you DM me with examples of accounts you have worked on and a brief explanation of your process?

still very reliable if you treat your profile like a landing page. zero-link main tweets for reach, active replies in your niche for impressions, and a clear offer in your bio/pinned post to capture traffic

quality definitely matters more. A few useful posts and good replies can do more than posting 20 times with nothing to say.

Quality over quantity: Use in-depth posts and valuable comments to build credibility instead of spamming.

In my opinion, in 2026, X will still generate a lot of traffic if you focus on content quality rather than posting frequency. Make sure to leave insightful comments on posts by influential figures in your niche.
Means posting 5-6x times a day alone not brings the traffic, you need doing comments to 10-20 influencers in your niche daily too?

X evaluates articles independently. if a piece stands out within its subject matter, organic traffic will follow. In short, just focus on the content and you won’t be short on traffic.

In my opinion, the focus should be on building relationships and creating sustainable discussion content to drive viewers to their own channels, rather than relying on the fluctuating follower count or reach of a platform.
