I’ve recently launched a new website and started working on SEO. I know SEO takes time, but I’d love to hear from experienced members.

1. How long did it take before you started seeing consistent organic traffic?

2. What worked best for you on a new site—content, backlinks, on-page SEO, or something else?

Any real experiences or tips would be appreciated!

It took me roughly 3-6 months to start seeing steady organic traffic on a new site. I'd focus first on publishing genuinely useful content and getting the on-page basics right, then build relevant backlinks naturally over time-there's no need to rush it.
 
A new site can take a few months to get steady organic traffic. I would focus first on useful content, strong on page seo, internal links, and then build relevant backlinks slowly.

however, the initial symptoms will normally appear after 2-3 months, stable traffic will take 6 months or more. my recommendation would be to focus initially on high quality content nd good internal linking, followed by building a couple of rellevant backlinks.
 
Usually you start to see traffic coming in after 3-4 months, depending what niche you are in and keywords/topics you are targeting.
 
My priority would be to ensure that the content is well optimized for search intent, followed by creating high-quality backlinks to support those pages.

For a new site, I’d focus on quality content and solid on-page SEO first, then build relevant backlinks gradually. In my experience, consistent work over a few months is usually needed before organic traffic becomes steady.
 
Usually took me a couple months, but it really depends on the niche and how consistently you work on it.

It will take aprox 4-6 months to get a real traffic if you do your Seo consistently. just post good content and neeche relevant.

1) New websites need at least 4 to 6 to get consistent traffic,
2) Content is KING. Backlinks come second.
 
It took my new website about two months to start getting its first search visitors. Now, the traffic is quite good thanks to well-optimized content.
 
I’d focus on good content and on page stuff first For a new site I think it’s better to get a solid base before worrying too much about backlinks
 
For me, consistent traffic took a few months. A mix of useful content and solid on-page SEO worked best initially.

Establishing strong on page SEO and internal linking first creates the ideal foundation. This ensures that once relevant backlinks are gradually introduced, they deliver maximum impact. It is a gradual process, but undoubtedly the most sustainable approach to building lasting site growth.

From my real life experience I got traffic from the 2nd months after publishing it. Proper seo and marketing can make it better to reach the traffic. You also can promote your site on other blogs and content in specific site or forum to get the targeted audience.
