Can you recommend me a book on Black Hat SEO?

I can not really suggest any Black Hat SEO books for 2026, because the BH tactics shift too quick, like they do not sit still long enough for a book to stay relevant. Most folks end up learning through hands on testing, real case studies, and active SEO communities, not through a published guide. Also I feel like a book will always get outdated before you finish chapter two.

Honestly I wouldn't focus on books for Black Hat SEO in 2026. The space changes so quickly that most books are outdated by the time they're published. I'd spend more time reading case studies, testing things yourself, and following active discussions on SEO forums and communities. The people getting results today are usually learning from current experiments rather than a book written a year or two ago.
If I had to name a few, I'd look at The Art of SEO by Eric Enge and SEO 2026 by Adam Clarke. They're not Black Hat SEO books, but they give a solid understanding of how search engines work. Most Black Hat tactics change too fast for books to stay relevant, so forums, case studies, and testing tend to be where people learn the newer stuff.

You can't learn SEO from books and courses. You can learn setting up wordpress sites and doing technical SEO. The strategies keep changing everyday. You should learn it by practice and through discussions.

You can search in this forum about blackhat SEO techniques. I don't believe that a book on blackhat SEO exists.

Books will not help you here because they are outdated by the time they print. Your best bet is to read old journey threads right here on the forum to understand the core logic. After that, just set up test sites and start breaking things yourself. That is the only real way to learn what actually works right now.

I’d honestly skip books for this. Black hat SEO changes too fast, so most books get outdated pretty quickly.
I’d spend more time studying real case studies and old BHW threads. You can learn a lot more from people showing what they tested, what worked and what got burned than from a general SEO book

You don't have to waste money on books - even if you want books, you can check out downloads and read for free. But I'd suggest you read other users' comments and get the basic idea. Don't fall for people just saying "this one is good" or "that one doesn't work," because many new users and some old users want to grow post counts or they're just saying things like "Black hat SEO is dead" or "Now it's the AEO era, automation doesn't work."
This is my advice: let's say someone is offering PBN or niche edits. They might say tiered link building works or that automation link building doesn't work anymore. They keep saying that because it's not what they offer. Instead of reading books, I'd suggest you go through Black Hat SEO, Black Hat SEO Tools, or IM Journey subforums and read posts.
Also, don't skip outdated posts or threads from past years. Even though some threads are old, they're gold mines. As many have said, black hat, white hat, or gray (I really don't care about labels, lol) aren't changing strategically. Mostly the methods change - like how we generate content or anchor text ratios - but strategies are still almost the same.
Example: EMD plus tiered link building has been around for decades. The methods we use to automate and create them may change, so the strategy stays the same. Therefore, read old and new - don't be foolish and skip them by thinking they're outdated.

is there a free guide on here on chameleon seo poisoning? I am curious on how it is done and yet i cant find a simple write up from an blackhat perspective....only security analyst have done any write up on it.....i am new here, any of you OGs have come across a post or thread on here that can point me into the right direction......thanks

Is there anyone here who needs a mentee. I am looking for a mentor. I would be honest I want my seo very black. I am not into affiliate marketing. I would appreciate if anyone has a guide to speed me up. Share a link or post. I do understand majority on here grey hat. But the blacker the better...that is how I like my coffee lol.
