Nothing is easy to grow these days - You need to pump in lot of efforts, have patience and give it time to produce results (slow).

Honestly, niche blogs are still way easier to grow because you face less competition and build a loyal audience faster. But make sure the niche has enough search volume and monetization potential — too narrow can limit your upside. From my experience, it's all about balancing focus with opportunity.

Niche can still help, but I wouldn’t say niche blogs are automatically easier to grow now.
Competition is strong even in small niches, so the site still needs something genuinely useful or different from the many similar pages already ranking.

of course, it is easier to develop niche blogs since there is always demand for particular niches nd focusing on one helps to establish topical authority nd trust of readers. what matters is to cover the chossen niche well and not just post any content.

Focusing on a specific topic and creating genuinely high-quality content is much easier for growth than spreading yourself across many different topics. I’m doing the same with my blog right now, and it’s growing very quickly.

Yes niche blogs are still easier and faster to grow than multi topic sites because they build search engine authority and target a clear audience much more quickly.
Yes generally niche blogs are much easier to grow especially when the site is new and the main reason is that your focus always only on one topic instead of working on many different topics. Focusing on one niche can build authority more efficiently because you have only one main topic instead of many more. So I think if you put your total effort in one topic to make it more better then it will be best for growth.

its not easy, you need to have a traffic from x or facebook, then you can start to grow slowly slowly, if you have no traffic, nobady will find your blog on google.

Can't say it's easy to grow, but today we have a handful of tools to fasten the work pace. If you consider this a part-time penny hustle, it's fine to put in your effort, and it may surprise you if you pick the right niche and user-friendly content.
