Are niche blogs still easier to grow?

I'm wondering if focusing on one specific topic still works better than trying to cover a bunch of different subjects.
What's been your experience?

Nothing is easy to grow these days - You need to pump in lot of efforts, have patience and give it time to produce results (slow).
 
Smaller topics can be easier to test because you can quickly see which content brings the right visitors.
 
In my experience, focusing on one specific topic usually works better, especially for a newer website. It helps build topical authority and makes it easier for Google to understand the site’s expertise.
 
Niche can still help, but I wouldn’t say niche blogs are automatically easier to grow now.

Competition is strong even in small niches, so the site still needs something genuinely useful or different from the many similar pages already ranking.

Yes generally niche blogs are much easier to grow especially when the site is new and the main reason is that your focus always only on one topic instead of working on many different topics. Focusing on one niche can build authority more efficiently because you have only one main topic instead of many more. So I think if you put your total effort in one topic to make it more better then it will be best for growth.
 
its not easy, you need to have a traffic from x or facebook, then you can start to grow slowly slowly, if you have no traffic, nobady will find your blog on google.

Can't say it's easy to grow, but today we have a handful of tools to fasten the work pace. If you consider this a part-time penny hustle, it's fine to put in your effort, and it may surprise you if you pick the right niche and user-friendly content.

Yes websites specialized in a specific niche do better than broader ones. That is because you can make Google view you as an authority in a more specialized niche instead of a broader one.
 
Yeah, I still think niche sites are easier to grow, especially at the start. It’s much easier to build topical authority and keep the content focused than trying to rank across too many unrelated topics.
 
Niche blogs are still easier to grow, especially when you're starting from zero. It's easier to build authority around one topic instead of writing about everything. Once the site gets some traction, you can always expand into related topics later.
