Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed more creators using YouTube Community posts to stay connected with their audience between videos.
Do you think Community posts can meaningfully improve channel engagement and returning viewers?
Would love to hear your thoughts.

i have discovered that posts on community will help keep a channel alive between uploads. sometimes even a short survey or question may attract viewers who have not been watching the channel lately. the excitting thing about this is finding out which topics get responses nd developing videos based on that discussion.

It is relevant only for big creators. If you do not have large number of subscribers, focus on getting engagement on videos first.

It is a good tool to connect with your subscribers. You should use it but do not start spamming.

I've had decent results with them. They're not a replacement for videos but they're good for keeping the audience warm.

They’re definitely useful, but the content still matters. A simple poll or genuine question can often create more engagement than a random promotional post.

Hey!
Yeah, I think they can help quite a bit. They’re a good way to keep your audience engaged between videos and give people a reason to come back to your channel. I wouldn’t rely on them too much, but they’re definitely useful for keeping the community active

Yeah i think they can help because regular community posts keep your audience active and can bring viewers back between videos and the polls and simple questions can work especially well.

If your channel already has a certain number of followers, that's very helpful, as it often attracts more interaction between viewers and turns one-time viewers into regulars.

They are meant for interacting with the subscribers. I see good engagement on creative community posts made by other creators.

Absolutely, because Community posts help keep the algorithm engaged through continuous interaction, turning casual viewers into loyal fans and prompting them to return for new videos without the effort of creating clips.

Yes they seems to be vry underrated. something like an interactive poll or even just updating them can help to keeps the audience engaged until another video is posted.

YouTube Community Posts are definitely underrated, although their importance has been growing rapidly in recent years. For many creators, this tool has long remained an afterthought, but YouTube algorithms are now actively promoting text posts, polls and images, showing them in the feed even to users who do not subscribe to your channel. Community posts can really significantly increase engagement and bring viewers back to the channel

Yeah sometimes they can be surprisingly effective. i have seen basic polls and opinion posts get more attention than even some uploads which helps pull people back once u upload again.

What if you audience is small? Will your tutorial/help videos with 23 visits be too pitiful to even try this route for a SaaS service? Would you definitely go the ad route to get some thousand views before adding community notes?

Yes, I think Community posts can help a lot. They keep your audience active between videos and can encourage people to come back to the channel

How about using it not to engage with your audience, because yours might be very little, but to give an impression of being an established business?

In my point of view, the posting of messages on Community will definitely prove to be useful in keeping the audience interested in between the videos. The surveys and updates will help in keeping the audience involved.
