It's obviously not what it used to be but I'm curious if anyone here still gets traffic or attention from MySpace. Is it useful for any specific niche?

I’ve noticed that music-related content still gets attention from Myspace users. In my opinion, the platform can still be useful for promoting your music, but you shouldn’t set your expectations too high.

due to low traffic ide say thats a no - but the owners
keep talking about bringing changes .

I think its mostly useful for musicians and really niche audiences now. I wouldn't expect much traffic from it though.

i'd treat it as a secondary channel rather than a main traffic source could still be useful for branding and reaching a small music focused audience

I would not rely on MySpace for major traffic today. It may still have some value for music related audiences, but platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram are generally more active for promotion.

i wouldnt rely on MySpace for music promo these days, but it could still be useful for older fans and niche music communities. most artists will probly get more reach on newer platforms.

if you already have a MySpace profile keeping it updated costs little i just wouldn't spend hours maintaining it unless it brings real engagement.
