Sure, that’s exactly the case when you were deleting a page that was competing with some other URL using the same keywords. This would influence Google’s decision on the selection of the page, so I’d keep an eye on query nblevel data

It can happen, deleting or redirecting a page can change how internal links and relevance flow through the site, so other pages may see some movement afterward.

Of course, this is possible. The removal or redirection of one page might have an effect on another page through internal linking, relevancy, crawl paths, and link equity.

Deleting or redirecting a page shouldn’t normally affect another page’s performance. However, changes to internal links or authority flow can sometimes have an indirect impact.

Delete and redirect are two pretty different cases though. If the old page has a close replacement I’d 301 it there, but if it’s just gone with no real replacement, 404/410 is fine. I’d also update the internal links instead of leaving them pointing through the redirect
