In my experience, effective link building is more about relevance, quality, and consistency than simply increasing the number of backlinks. A well placed link from a relevant, credible source can be far more valuable than a large volume of unrelated links. What link building approach has been the most consistent for you?

You already answered your question so what are you asking for exactly?

You already had the answer. I’d add that I also look at the traffic trend, and whether the page actually gets indexed.

A relevant link from a clean site with real activity is usually more useful than sites that only look good with high metrics.

what you said in starting it truly summed up, I just wanna add one thing, If I get a backlink from a website where 90% of the traffic comes from the USA, and my website also targets the USA market and the same niche, this is the best and quality backlink.

Quality always wins over quantity. A single link from a high-relevance site with actual organic search traffic drives far better results than dozens of low-tier, automated backlinks

Both are important in my opinion, you just need to build a lot of quality backlinks.

I agree quality and relevance matter more than raw quantity A few strong contextual links from relevant sites can be more useful than hundreds of random backlinks Consistency also matters because building links naturally over time gives you a stronger overall profile

definitely yes, I agre with this statement. I alway think about relevance, traffic quality, link position instead of concentrating only on Domain Rating nd backlink.

Here’s a natural BHW-style comment based on the discussion about relevance, traffic, and link quality:

I think relevance and actual traffic matter more than just chasing high DR. A few solid links from sites in the same niche can be much more valuable than hundreds of random ones.

i agree that quality and relevance usually matter more than just building a large number of links i’ve had better results focusing on a smaller number of relevant trustworthy sites and building those links consistently over time

I’ve had better results focusing on relevance rather than trying to build as many links as possible. One good link from a site related to the niche can be worth more than a bunch of random ones. Consistency matters too, sometimes it takes a while before you really see the difference.

I’d take 10 relevant links with real traffic over 100 random links any day. The most consistent approach for me is niche relevance first, then authority, traffic, and keeping the link profile looking natural over time.

Have you seen better results from niche edits or fresh guest posts lately?

its always about the quality, as spam is just spam

now quality is matter because 100 random link better than 1 quality link .its make you site healthy not getting any issue for backlink.its safe or secure for site
