In 2026, a lot of people keep pointing to content quality, topical authority, and technical SEO. Links still play a role, yes. But I would put more weight on relevance and real credibility than on raw link counts.
What do you mean by boosted sites? I think I have come across a few sites that have traffic but I never see them ranking for any keywords when I manually check. How do these sites get traffic then? Even in SEMRush traffic shows for them I think. Are these boosted sites?Right now we're focusing more on acquiring backlinks from legit sites with existing traffic. Unfortunately, right now the market is flooded with boosted sites, which have traffic but worthless.
I'm posting consistently and only excellent content. I also try to get backlinks from highly authoritative relevant websites.I’m curious what everyone in the community is testing lately. Are you putting more effort into content, backlinks, expired domains, technical SEO, or something else?
Would be interesting to hear what’s actually producing results in 2026, especially for newer sites.
