Are Pinterest Saves Still More Important Than Clicks?

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed that some Pinterest pins get lots of saves but fewer website clicks.
Do you think saves are still a better sign of long term pin performance than clicks?
Would love to hear your thoughts.

saves and clicks kinda tell you different things tbh. saves mean people find it worth keeping for later, but that doesnt always turn into traffic.

if your goal is actual website visits then clicks matter more to you... a pin with tons of saves but no clicks usually means the image itself is doing all the work and people arent curious enough to go deeper. maybe test tweaking your titles or the overlay text.

both are useful signals just for different reasons imo

I’ve tested both saves and clicks, and I’ve found that clicks are still more valuable and deliver more immediate results. A save only shows that someone is interested in the content; it doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll click through to view it, and the conversion rate tends to be lower.

i think saves mean you're not getting much traffic because people are saving it for the future though a click means that its catching attention instantly

Save are nice for long-term reach but I'd still take clicks more seriously if the pin is meant to drive to traffic. Depends on the goal really.
