Are Reddit links still good for SEO and indexing?

It can help you get some traffic and eyeballs, but most of the SEO value is indirect at best. If the post doesn’t get real engagement, it basically does nothing longterm.

yeah, reddit links still help with indexing new pages pretty fast if they get any traction. I’ve seen URLs get crawled within a day or two after a decent post.
 
O yea game changer really. Just searched something the other day, second result, reddit post with 1 upvote in a very niche community. But ranked way above all of the other stuff.
 
In my opinion, links from Reddit can still be valuable for SEO. If a Reddit post containing your link ranks well in Google Search, it can drive high-quality traffic and provide significant SEO value.

From my testing over the last few months, raw link juice from reddit is pretty much dead since almost everything gets nofollowed or buried.

Plus, with reddit dominating SERPs lately, ranking the actual reddit thread (parasite style) brings in far better direct conversion traffic than trying to rank a fresh site from scratch.
