Do you think the AI boom is just a bubble that’s about to burst?

AI is already attracting billions of dollars in investment. Some companies are raising $10M, $50M, and even $100M+.

New AI startups are popping up every day, and some companies are being valued in the billions before they’ve even managed to show serious profits.

And that raises the question

Are we witnessing the beginning of a technological revolution, or is the market massively overheated?

Will AI really change the world — or will we look back on this hype in a few years as just another bubble?

It has so many applications and advancing fast. I think if we start to see improvements flatlining or open modals becoming on par with paid modals, then I would think the investments would stop. Since there is still potential to the AI game, I don't think anything will burst. I would like it to burst tho so I can afford to upgrade my system yet that looks far fetched.

It's a bubble. They build massive datacenters, but to make enough profit for this to be sustainable they have to basically have hundreds of millions of paying customers which cannot happen.
It's a matter of time, those companies just hope they are the last to fall and the big AI heads just want to make as much money as possible before the stock prices drop like crazy.

I think the big giants will win in the end.
They have enough money, infrastructure, and resources to survive a market crash while smaller companies go out of business.
After the bubble bursts, the AI market could become even more concentrated, with a few huge companies controlling most of it.

This is a epoch moment in human advancement. Those who won't board will be left out. Old salty devs who refused to adopt Ai were all fired. True story Anthropic code is now done by AI. The once whose mind are not ready for new learning can only spell doom. I will be joining the Jr vip for this purpose. Saas can be done in 1 hour, pen tested and deployed. Let's not talk about video and other areas. Ignorance is bliss and change is painful.

I don’t think it’s a bubble. The market will gradually adapt over time. In the early days, cloud went through a somewhat similar phase there was significant hype and uncertainty around it. AI feels like a similar situation today, although the scale of the hype may be different.

Some AI valuations may be inflated, but the technology i don’t think is a bubble. AI delivers productivity improvements across multiple industries. The better comparison is the .com era as many companies disappeared, but the internet changed the world. I expect the same outcome, the hype will fade, but the impact is here to stay.

It's a bubble, though AI will stay, but only a few companies will control it and be able to make good profits.

i think everyone knows it's a bubble, just no one knows when it will pop. You could sit out for a year and miss a lot of great things. I don't think it will ever go away. Similar to the dot com bubble, it will drastically drop but the underlying tech will survive, just might take 5-10 years to rebuild and be everywhere.

Yes but most likely it will go down as dot com bubble. But when the dust settled we got the internet which is not much different since the dot com bubble(burst).
Ai will be there but the investors will take the hit and lose huge amount of money.
We don't know in what form we will be using or having ai.

We are in technology era and whenever a new tech comes out, there will always be a rush but with time, everything will slow down. So there will be a time Ai boom will slow down.
