For a new website, I’d start with a small group of relevant, low-to-moderate competition keywords rather than targeting broad terms immediately. Build useful pages around those topics, make sure the internal linking is logical, and give Google enough context to understand the site’s main subject. Once some pages start getting impressions and rankings, I’d use that data to expand into related keywords and strengthen the pages that show the most potential.

I would focus on using low competition and very relevant keywords technical seo and relevant content after that i would develop internal links and get a couple of relevant links or mentions consistency and relevance become more important than competitiveness at the beginning stages for a new website.

I’d keep it simple but realy notable to implement as of my own experiece,
start with low competition, long tail keywords, build strong topical content and make sure the technical , onpage basics are solid.
Then add a few relevant, quality backlinks and brand mentions gradually.
Once you get initial rankings and data, double down on the pages/keywords that show traction.

For the first three months, my new website focused solely on publishing content daily and optimizing its on-page SEO. Even without building backlinks, some of my keywords managed to rank highly and bring in organic traffic. I think that’s the approach new websites should take in the beginning.
for a new website, my attention would be drawn to some basic things, proper keyword research, rellevant content that targets keywords with lower competition, effective internal linking nd technical optimization. for the rankings i would prefer slow building of backlinks than trying to achieve rapid results.

I would first focus on good keyword research, engaging and emotional content, solid on-page SEO, and relevant and relevant and quality backlinks. Relevance is the key—don't expect instant results.

For a new website, I think focusing on a small set of closely related topics first works better than trying to target everything at once. Building useful content and internal links before scaling seems to make the process much more manageable.

For me, the answer is unquestionably deep topical clusters. Comprehensively covering a specific subtopic through long tail content builds genuine authority, and paired with strong site speed, rankings are far more likely to withstand core updates.
