If i repost the content of my new account on an old account in the stories or just a repost, it there a positive to be had?

Yeah reposting to Stories from an old established acct genuinely helps, it's just cross-promotion (same as any creator sharin their new project on their main), n a story repost sends real followers to check out the new acct
 
Yeah there is a lot of positives to be had. Due to age, your old account might not be as effective as the new therefore, having fresh contents routed to it would improve its performance.

As long as you legally own the content then you're fine. If you don't though you can get a DMCA strike and possibly get banned on both of the accounts.

Even the account that reposts? I can see some people using alt accounts to repost, and those accounts are fine so far.

Stories with a mention sticker work pretty well for this, or you can just make it a collab post so both pages share the reach, I wouldnt bother reuploading it directly to the old feed though
 
Yes i think repostingg on an old account can bring extra reach or the engagement and also followers to your new account so justt keep it natural and don’t overdo it.

yes, in terms of small push though if you really want to get real reach, you should start posting on the older account
 
Should give you some exposure, but I think the quality/activity of the old account matters more than just its age.

nah total waste of time just cross posting won't trick the algo into pushing your old account
 
I think you should vary the format. Like sharing an old reel as a story on your old account. This doesn't trigger the penalty as harshly. If you want a more formal approach for brand building, consider using the Collab feature, which shows the post to both audiences at once.
 
Yes it would be very useful if you repost but It won't trick the algorithm aswell as there maybe chances of getting banned on both acc so to get your old acc reach you should prefer doing Collab feature.

If the contents are genuinely yours then go ahead. There are huge audinece in different ages and thoughts. It will grow.
