Started last month, because I was annoyed about only seeing other people get order, and so far, I don’t regret jumping in.
Super happy and just hope it keeps up.
My advice is to just start. The advice that got me to change my perspective and actually get a sale was:
“That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.” - Ecclesiastes 1:9 NKJV
There’s ALOT more to the verse that what Im explaining (speaks from Solomons perspective, the richest man to have ever lived, about how having everything doesn’t mean anything, and everything is meaningless without God), I recommend you go read Ecclesiastes as the perspectives he gives on life is important.
But ultimately something I found in it, is that if there is something you’re trying to sell, it’s already been done. There is nothing new. Find it and see how it’s being done successfully. Then DO THAT. Dont try add and take away until you’ve got it up and running. For me that looked like finding a product I liked the look off, and stopping myself from dreaming and just saying, I will sell this as it’s being sold by this person/business. And just by doing that, I got my first sale in the first few days.
And secondly if it’s a business that you know works, I.e there are competitors that are making sales, I’d recommend also just jumping in and running ads, assuming you’re using their same strategy as them and dont want to wait for SEO to take it’s hit. And it makes sense for you.
