How long dose it usually take for pinterest traffic to pick up?

I've seen people say pinterest can be slow at first while others get clicks pretty quickly. For those who've grown a newer account
when did you start noticing steady traffic?

It can take some time. I didn't see much traffic in the beginning either. Just keep adding pins whenever you can and don't worry too much about daily views. Sometimes an old pin starts getting clicks after a few weeks.

On average it takes a few months to pick up. In some niches you might be lucky yo start getting traffic in weeks, but in general it's around 2 to 4 months.

Yeah that’s what I've noticed too. some pins take a while before thhey really start getting clicks.

2-4 months seems pretty realistic. I guess it also depends a lot on the niche and how consistently you're posting.
 
I’d say 4–8 weeks for the first real signs, and 2–3 months for steadier traffic. Some pins can take off much faster, though. Pinterest is pretty compounding, so I’d judge it over 90 days rather than the first few weeks.
 
This varies depending on the Niche, in some niche you will start seeing traffic in some days while in some is within few weeks but what to focus on is consistent posting.

That’s pretty much how I've seen it too. The first few months can be slow but once you figure out what works the traffic gets more predictable.
 
You will see stable traffic after 3-4 months of consistently pinning your posts. Pinterest algorithm, like a search engine, needs time to distribute your posts.

In my opinion Pinterest can be very slow and can take longer time to attract some traffic as the search algorithm takes times to recognize you that can be 3-4 monthssss.

It takes a couple of months for traffic to pick up but after that pins can get views for YEARS.
 
for me, steady traffic started showing after around three to six months of posting consistently. the first few weeks were pretty quiet, but older pins slowly began bringing regular clicks.
 
Pinterest definitely feels slower at the beginning, but once you have a decent number of quality pins ranking in search, the traffic can become much more consistent without needing every new pin to go viral.
 
Pinterest works more like a visual search engine, so it can take a few weeks to a few months to gain steady traffic. Some pins may start getting clicks within 4–6 weeks if the keywords are well optimized.
