Any Niche Ideas or Recommendation related to pets

hello all, would wanna crowd source some ideas for potentially building a business model around pets. i've always been a pet lovers, so this is an extension of trying to use my passion and love for pets to bring in money. as they always say, do what u love and u never have to work a day in your life.

I've done some research and all the usual stuff (pet food subscription, pet supplies and toys, pet guidebook) are all too overly saturated, and wanted to see if anyone would wanna share some interesting painpoint they/their pets might have that i can try to build and resolve.

Open to digital/physical business model ideas, and have about usd 5,000 to get started with 6 months leeway to see viable ROI. Appreciate everyone feedback!

With $5k I wouldn’t start by buying inventory. I’d choose one expensive or repeated problem, like senior pet care, medication tracking, pet-friendly travel or breed-specific grooming, then talk to actual owners. Build around the problem that keeps coming up

Things related to dog health.
I haven't looked into it myself, but maybe you could, because you have more knowledge.
But okey many, animals are usually left alone at home during the day. They don't have any activities to keep them occupied. Some dogs experience stress at home while waiting for their owners—or other family members—to return. Perhaps some background music - sounds designed for dogs/cats? Or TV - video programs suitable for dogs/cats? Nowadays, you can do all sorts of things with AI...

Make this a branded thing; maybe you can add new things around this brand from time to time...

are you looking to design and make a new product like a new type of dog bowl that solves a messy eater? Are you looking for a product to promote that is already established?

Or are you looking to do something more like custom dog tags?

You should maybe look into things like pet anxiety separation senior pet care or making vet visits easier becasue these are the common problems and also i think there be some good business ideas around them.
