I made a bhw account maybe over a week ago now to buy a facebook account but having messaged multiple sellers on marketplace they either don't respond or very slow to respond and when they do drip feed information and not seeming interested in selling an account.

Seems I am having to chase them to get anything and progress really slow. Looking at other replies on sales thread it seems others are in the same situation, struggling to find one.

Is demand so high for accounts that it outstrips supply and they can be picky and so it is a 'seller's market' right now?

It is risky because of scams, account recoveries and platform policy violations, making trusted sellers hard to find.

Want to buy and Hire a freelancer section has been filled with a lot of bots. I don't know what to make out of them but i seriously stopped replying on many threads on a days.

These people reply on almost all the threads like keywords reddit, quora, seo and what not. I myself contacted many of them and none of them seems to be providing the service they commented on.

What frustrates me more is they eats the limelight of someone who is genuinely providing that service + another thing which i make out of it is they are trying to make quick money out of customers may be trying to scam. Or i would say they also deserve some post count inflation warning.

As of your real query, i would say go to marketplace and check the people selling accounts there they will surely have fb accounts.

Probably you're looking for an FB Ads account?

I'm just curious, why buy a Facebook account in the first place? Creating one is free.
Because each time I tried I got ID verification locked after just a couple of innocent actions. I am not wanting to give my ID bullshit data to facebook so want to buy one which will already have passed such checks. I never used facebook personally so is this easy to buy or not? I just want an anonymous account basically not give all my personal data that fb demands. It is only for personal use not any marketing.

Nope. I just want a personal account to be able to post to groups.

That is exactly where I have been looking.

Btw what does 'manual farming' mean on the accounts available? Lots of lingo for FB accounts I don't understand

Manual farming : Consider it as manually created accounts. not created with automation.

General manually farmed accounts are good, with less chances of getting banned unless they have already been shadow banned various times while farming manually.

Because trusted Facebook accounts are scarce, risky to trade, and frequently get banned or recovered by their original owners.

Thanks. I found a seller which looks promising: Official Black Cat.

They didn't have any UK accounts when I looked before but just checked again and seems back in stock.

With regard to proxies how strict are fb with them? Can you use them? and if so would they have to be residential and also in the same region as the account?

I guess as I am not doing anything bh with the accounts I could do without proxy but sometimes using a proxy just feels nice for extra buffer off privacy. :)

EDIT: Just a quick search on bhw and seems using a proxy would create more headaches than I need to for this use case.

Can a person get in legal issue for buying and using these risky accounts? so need total anonymity and not use home IP?

Buying the account is only 20% of the job. If you log into a bought UK account through your regular home browser, Facebook's AI will lock it instantly due to the location and device change.
To keep it alive:
  1. Use an Anti-detect Browser: Setup a clean profile using tools like AdsPower or Dolphin{anty} to hide your PC fingerprint.
  2. Get a Residential Proxy: Match the proxy country with the account's country (UK). Avoid cheap VPNs.
  3. Warm it up: Don’t start blasting group posts on day one. Let it sit for a day, scroll the feed naturally, and build history on your current setup first.
Treat it carefully, or it will trigger ID verification faster than a new account.

It’s definitely a seller's market right now, mate. Facebook just hit us with a massive ban wave, so good supply is extremely scarce and overall account quality has tanked heavily. Most legit sellers are low on stock and focusing only on their bulk, long-term clients.
Instead of chasing them in the Marketplace, I'd suggest opening a thread in the "Want to Buy" section. State exactly what you need and your budget; reliable suppliers who actually have stock will reach out to you directly. Good luck finding a solid batch!

because the platform has become strict about account verification and safety.

i think strict platform rules and account stability issues makes the market more limited.

Yep definitely risky but if they scam you here you can put them on the shit list.

In fact, many sellers do not pay attention to a buyer who is new until he or she gains some experience with the forum. When a person becomes more experienced, the response will be much better.

You will face same problem too, those account will immediately lock or 3ven ask for verification after you successfully login from you device.

If I can ask, what method are u using when login in to new account ?
