If you post 8x-10x a day on Instagram on a brand new INstagram account -- will profile be limited in reach?

- Relevant content
- No spam bots / fake signals
- Just posting in demand content
- Mostly images, maybe 2 videos per day from group

What's everyone's thoughts?

There is no hard posting limit, but dumping 8 to 10 posts a day on a brand new account usually hurts more than it helps. With no followers yet, you are spreading the few views you get way too thin, so regular image posts wont get seen by anyone. New accounts also trigger spam flags pretty easily if the group media looks at all repetitive. Better to stick to 1 or 2 posts a day and focus on the videos, because reels can actually pull decent reach on fresh profiles..

yes i would start with 3–5 posts a day and increase it slowly because if engagement stays good then 6–10 can be fine but also it may be too much for a brand new account.

I'd suggest starting with 2-3 posts per day and gradually increasing it to 7-8 in 2-3 months just to be on the safe side.

It will not perform good, and yes it will be limited in reach. Not even accounts with big following post 8-10x a day. May I ask why do you wanna do that?

Even in-demand content won't get much traction if you post 10X. Highly unlikely!

Images - I assume you mean carousel post, that won't perform like Reels. At least Reels would stand a chance but not image posts.

Posting regularly does not necessarily mean that there will be a small reach provided the posts are relevant and useful However, 8 to 10 posts per day for a newly established page can be hard to manage.

I saw a message in a Telegram traffic chat where someone wrote that he upload 40 reels a day to a single account, and Instagram doesn't impose any restrictions. He said the key is not to upload that many reels right from the start, instead, you need to gradually increase the number of daily uploads - very slowly

Honestly, even with legit content, posting 8–10x a day on a brand new account can trigger Instagram’s spam filters and temporarily limit your reach. I’d start with 2–3 posts daily for the first week, then gradually ramp up to avoid being flagged. Slow and steady wins the race on fresh accounts.

I would start with fewer posts on a new account. Posting 8–10 times every day may be too much and there is no guarantee it will improve reach. And also focus on good content and increase the number slowly if things are going well.

I don’t think 8–10 posts a day will automatically reduce reach. For a new account, I would start with fewer posts and see how the account responds. Good content and real engagement matter more than posting a lot.

8-10 posts per day is not necessarily an issue, but for a new account, I would look at how my audience reacts if there’s any sign that the engagement or reach rate is falling, lower the number of posts and concentrate on the most popular content.

Posting this way with a new acc might trigger their security. Why not first grow the acc before posting that much.

So far. All videos are getting 100-300 views per day pretty much. Also now generating subscribers daily.

GOinig to vet and remove any accounts from spam-farm countries that look unreal to increase engagement vs actual subscriber account.

Only adding 4 videos per day average right now but going to up it soon.

there is nothing wrong with posting 10 videos a day, but can you keep up that pace. you should do something more manageable that you know you can sustainably do over months, preferably 2-3 videos a day

4 videos a day is already plenty for a new account. Track which topics/hooks get profile visits, saves, shares, and follows before scaling.

Yes, I can sustain. I have a team of 3 people with 3 more that will come back to work when budget expands.

Is there any way to control who views your content by location? Ie target North Americans, etc?

I mean, i feel im outdated so I'm fishing for new information

I haven't done anything in reddit in nearly 8 years

from my experience: yes, it will! but it heavily depends how you use your account. auto posting? defintiely yes. posting by yourself? maybe.

instagram likes the habit of 'random posting' ?
