For those managing local business profiles, are you noticing that steady review velocity (with localized keywords in reviews) helps expand your ranking radius on geo-grids, or is physical proximity still an unbreakable ceiling in competitive niches? Curious to hear what’s working best in your recent tests

More genuine reviews can improve prominence, but review velocity doesn’t reliably erase distance when nearby competitors are equally relevant. Use the same geo-grid and keywords before and after, then check whether the gains stay close

How do you define local backlinks? Backlinks on domains that include the city name, backlinks in articles with a local connection (regardless of the domain name), or on local directories, etc., or backlinks from other local businesses?

from my experiments, proximity remains a critical factor, especially in congested regions. reviews may establish trust nd increase visibility, but it would not suddenly give you the upper hand over your competitor becuz he is close.
