Do you ever turn down a client bcoz their niche felt off their strategy?

Curious if this happens to others too-had someone reach out wanting back links for their site but
the niche just didn't fit like a good fit for the kind of sites i work with, ended up saying no even though
it meant losing the deal
anyone else picky abt this...

Yeah... I have rejected Pharma link-building projects a couple of times and it’s usually because of two things.

It's not always easy to get affordable, relevant links in that niche that are actually good quality. And by good quality, I mean links from sites that are directly relevant not just some general sites.

Secondly, most of the time the client would even want country-specific links, so that usually just makes me decide not to take the project.

I can't take on a project when I already know I might not be able to deliver what the client is looking for.

It’s one thing to say I would just refund them if it doesn’t work out, but then I know I would probably just end up wasting both the client’s time and my own time.

So for me, I usually stay away from Pharma-related link-building projects : )

Yeah, definitely. If the niche doesn’t align with your strategy or quality standards, it’s better to say no than take on a project that won’t deliver good results.

Yeah, I’m the same way. I’d rather turn down a deal than place a backlink that feels forced or doesn’t fit the site’s audience. Relevance is more important to me than making a quick sale.

I think that I would look into the account history nd the policies. sometime these freezes are becas, but sometime there are browser issues.

Yes I’ve turned down a few as well If the niche doesn’t fit my network or standards I’d rather skip the deal than force it
