Whenever I see someone talking about their experience with dropshipping, they only seem to talk about their wins.

In my opinion, those who focus on the failures and what they can be learned from are the ones who end up succeeding later on.

What is a bad decision that ended up teaching you a lesson?

One lesson I’ve seen repeatedly is scaling too quickly before the numbers are proven. It’s easy to increase spending when something looks promising, but testing the product, offer, and fulfillment first can save a lot of money and headaches.
 
I've been involved in dropshipping for about 6 years. Biggest mistake is advertising spend. Social media and Google I found as a complete waste of money, you have to be very careful advertising through these plateforms. You can waste a small fortune on unproductive ads. I have found it is best to do small test ad campaigns for a couple of hundred dollars, see what happens and look at the data. This will save you thousands of dollars in the long run..

Dropshipping is a business that requires time to build trust.customers rarely make purchases solely based on ads, so you should gradually build a good reputation
 
I have been in dropshipping for a while now and my mistake is with spending too much on ads without any good result.
