Is there a better tool that tells you 100% accurate traffic than Ahrefs estimated traffic, and if there is a tool, Is it free or paid?

If you’re checking competitors, there’s no 100% accurate tool. Ahrefs, Semrush, and Similarweb are all estimates and mostly paid.

No SEO tool has 100% accurate traffic data. They all rely on estimates. Well for your own exact stats, you can use Google Search Console.

Ahrefs gives conservative estimate (lower end) while semrush gives more recent and more accurate estimate. Bear in mind they both give google only organic and ads traffic. similar web give estimate of everything google bing social media and direct. But similarweb only works for medium to large sites.
So you may need all 3 for lots of sites but for a few sites free version of semrush and ahrefs will give you same result. You can even get a free trial of similarweb.
Lastly semrush works 1 site at a time so does similarweb and ahrefs paid works 200 sites in one go.

no tools have that percentage of accuracy to be honest but for better tracking you can use google analytics for your pages but for competitors tracking Ahref shows your competitors and more so if you want something free analytics is good

i dont think any tool gives 100% accurate traffic for competitor sites. Similarweb can give a better idea of total visits, but its still estimated data.

No third-party tool will show 100% accurate traffic. Ahrefs, Semrush, and Similarweb are all estimates.

For your own site, GA4 and Search Console are the closest to real data.

no tool gives 100% accurate competitor traffic data tbh. I usually compare Ahrefs, Semrush nd Similarweb together to get a closer estimate.

No tool is 100% accurate but Semrush is fantastic for like-for-like and relative analysis (i.e. comparing two sites within Semrush).

Since people are also mentioning their preferences for their own sites, I have to say I prefer to use anonymizing analytics such as Plausible rather than using Google Analytics and needing a GDPR compliance banner (and invading the privacy of my users), even if they are far less useful than the "evil" ones.

Another option I have never tried yet are those that reconstruct your visits from your Apache/nginx logs, but it's time I put both side by side.

The most accurate tool for checking traffic is Google Analytics (GA4) but only for websites you have access to,since it uses the websites actual tracking data.

For competitor websites there is no tool that can show 100% accurate traffic.

But there is no software that will be able to provide 100% exact traffic statistics for another website ahrefs and others like it are estimations in your case you might want to rely on google analytics and google search console since these work on your actual data.

There is no tool that reports competitor traffic with perfect accuracy.

If you are checking your own site, GSC and GA4 are the best options, and they cost nothing.

When you look at competitors, Ahrefs, Semrush, and Similarweb do not show exact numbers.

Those results are mostly estimates.

Similarweb can be helpful for getting a general sense of total traffic.

No tool gives 100% accurate competitor traffic Similarweb is one of the best alternatives to Ahrefs with limited free access and paid plans for deeper data.

No tool is 100% accurate, Similarweb is better for estimates, with free and paid plans.

There isn't really a 100% accurate tool for someone else's site For my own sites I'd trust GSC/GA4 but for competitors I'd just use Ahrefs or Similarweb as rough estimates
