i’m testing google ads but the clicks are costing too much....

tbh try setting a max cpc limit on your automated bidding strategy. just do it gradually so you don't choke the algorithm and kill your volume...

Find the junk terms that are burning cash and add them to your negative keyword list. Also switch your best performers to exact or phrase match.

Sometimes the issue isn’t CPC itself. Check which part of the campaign is eating the budget without bringing leads, and fix that first.

I’d start by checking the keywords that are spending money but not bringing conversions. Add the irrelevant ones as negative keywords and focus more on the keywords that are actually converting. Also, test the ad copy and landing page before making big bidding changes.

try A/B testing your ads until you identify what's burning through your budget. also try setting different limits with the tests until you find what works best for you

High cost per ad campaign indicates that your targeting isn't appropriate. Adjust your targeting and ad pages to improve keyword performance. Experiment and adjust different metrics each time to see which works best for you.

I’d start with search terms and match types. Cut irrelevant queries, add negatives, improve Quality Score, and lower bids gradually instead of making one big change.

i wouldn’t chase lower CPC by itself… if the expensive clicks still convert profitably, leave them alone and cut only the ones hurting your CPA/ROAS
