I have 5-6 good forums were i can get do-follow links but the forums are in a completely different niche from my website. Would you still build these or not?

Some do this kind of backlinks, they are not worried if it is of different niche, all there aims is to build a backlink.

Depends how you are getting them. If you are actually active on those forums and the link comes up naturally in a useful discussion, I wouldnt overthink it.

skip them mate, off topic do-follow links from forums add almost nothing and can make your link profile look unnatural.

I’d avoid them if the forums are completely unrelated to your niche. Relevant links usually make more sense than links from unrelated communities.

I’d judge the placement, not just the forum’s overall niche. A useful post in an adjacent discussion is very different from an exact-match link in a random signature. If the only reason to add it is do follow, I would skip it.

Even if the forum and your website are completely in different fields, such high-quality backlinks must still be obtained. Just think about it - how many websites in the same field would offer you backlinks?

That makes sense but there is no relevant content on these forums for my niche

Who u trying to negseo? :p
LOL, to be honest, these are forums that i found when i was link building for a blog 2-3 years ago. Now i am building a new blog but in a completely different niche and was just wondering if i can use these forums again or not as i can get do-follow links there instead of the usual forum nofollow links

I would avoid them if the niches are completely unrelated. Relevant forum links are usually more useful and look more natural than random links from unrelated sites.

In case of no similarity between the theme of the forum, then forget about them becuz simply having a ******** tag does not make any sense.

I would avoid these because the forums are not related to my website niche. I think it’s better to build backlinks from relevant and niche-related forums.

I’d avoid them if the niche is completely unrelated. A few relevant, quality links are generally more valuable than do-follow links from unrelated forums.

I wouldn't prioritize them, a do-follow link alone doesn't make it valuable if the forums is completely unrelated to your niche, I'd focus on relevant forums where the link fits naturally & adds real value
