Decodo Proxy - Worst Proxy I have ever had in my entire life

long time no see, I came only to write this review:

I have never ever in my entire life - since I use proxies - never saw such a bad proxy provide rlike decodo.

I bought 10 GB of residential proxies and they choose USA as a country what happens?:

I get every country except USA, I get UAE, Turkey, Germany, Yemen, but not USA. WHat happend? My instagram account got restricted now. Thank you https://www.decodo.com

I have a bot for such things, its meant to curl the connection string and then check the quality via a proxy checker based on exit ip nefore connecting to an anti detect profile, and I was surprsised to have selected usa and getting Russian, poland and germany as exit IP, I have found out that this was/is a caching issue on the providers back end, if i refresh the page and then generate the strings its always USA, this is not Decodo.

Decodo is freaking terrible, for many other reasons, too.

It's because the more popular proxy services have more users, and thus more abuse.

All it takes is one user to abuse an IP, and then the social networks insta/meta/reddit to ban all accounts created or using it.

That sounds like a bug or something because this is one of the most basic functions of a residential proxy

Not acceptable for a paid proxy service. Selling USA proxies that route through other countries is misleading.

That's a classic geo-targeting fail on their end - reputable providers would either replace those IPs instantly or refund you for sending traffic through wrong GEO locations when you specifically paid for USA. You should chargeback that purchase and switch to a provider with proper IP pool segmentation and actual quality control.

I think it was a system error on their end. It couldn't possibly be that bad.

decode (smartproxy) most disgusting provider.
I paid 2k for share IPS 15k IPs. then i got to know no matter you took 1 share ISP or 15k ISP your total TCP limit is 1000. very painful.

never USE decode AGAIN.

use any ip to location api to cross verify the location and ip quality.
you can use proxycheck.io its cheapest one, you can use "country_code": & "detections":
its always better to cross verify before proceed.

they're also through some maintenance for several days and it's fking annoying

the bigger proxy providers usually have more users which also means more chances of someone abusing their ips.one bad user can cause an ip get flagged and then other accounts using the same ip may face issues on platforms

That definitely sounds frustrating. If you specifically selected US proxies but received IPs from completely different countries, I’d contact their support and ask for an explanation or refund. Accurate geo-targeting is one of the basic things you should expect from a provider.

I've been hearing they're generally pretty good, but tbh the more people that use one proxy service the worse it is for the userbase

popular proxy service have many user mean mor traffic and problem comming from same ip ranges.once ip gets heavily abused it become flagged and other users on that ip sometimes face restrictions on platforms

Smartproxy was really good and stable. I used a lot in their prime time. Later it deteriorated due to spam, and there are so many complaints. I guess that's the reason why they changed their brand name? Not sure!
