If the creator uploaded their YouTube content on Tiktok than you will either get shadowbanned or permabanned for duplicate content.

If you do not own the content and do not have permission from the YouTube video owner, downloading and reposting it on TikTok is copyright infringement and may result in action (content removal, visibility restrictions, strikes, or account bans).

You can avoid this by editing the shorts, such as flipping, adding filters or adding a horizontal/vertical line in the video. I see many people doing this, especially movie review channels. You can refer to it. Note, never post the original short on TikTok because it is easy to get copyrighted and your account will be shadowbanned.

You can use secondary editing to solve the impact of moving. If you remain unchanged, you may be involved in infringement and be banned, which is not good news.

YEah it can take action if you're reposting content without editing or adding value, especially if it's clearly from another creator.

The original creator may also be on TikTok and see it, or a subscriber may notice it and report it, leading to a copyright strike.

It will mostly shadow ban your posts.
So there is manual review for each video?
it is an accident waiting to happen. just bcz something is available publicly on utube does not mean that it can be reposted on tiktok without problems. u may be able to get a couple of uploads through before anything happens but one report of copyright inffringement can turn the whole thing around.

If the person you are taking the shorts or content from reports you to tiktok with evidence, they will surely take action.

you can use it to gain followers and likes but you would better repurpose it and take it down once you get enough followers from it, if you keep it too long and you get too many views the original creator will report you and have your acc take down if there are too many similar violations
