There is a lot of Pinterest advice repeated online as if it applies to every account, but I'm sure many experienced users have discovered that some commonly repeated recommendations don't work for them.
What Pinterest advice do you disagree with based on your own experience?
It could relate to publishing frequency, keywords, boards, pin design, hashtags, follower count, automation, seasonal content, or anything else.

Please explain what you tested and what happened because real world experiences are much more useful than simply saying that a particular strategy is bad.

tbh the obsession with "fresh pins" is kinda exhausting and not even that effective in my experience. spent way too much time making brand new templates when repinning older successful stuff to different boards works just as well. the algorithm isn't as smart as people think...

i disagree with the idea that posting more always brings better results. i tested higher posting frequency and mostly saw lower engagement, while fewer, better-designed pins with stronger keywords performed much better.

i don’t agree that posting more always leads to better results. testing fewer, better-designed pins with stronger keywords often brought more clicks for me than publishing lots of average content, though results can vary by niche.
