It’s a page from Brazil with 5k followers—how can I monetize it? It’s my first page on FB that’s actually taken off.

I will setup a dropship store with funny items maybe taken from aliexpress or other chinnese manufacturers and try to resell them that will give best ROI

If it's your Facebook page, you'll certainly have a good understanding of your target audience. Affiliate marketing is a very popular trend right now.

At 5k, I’d start with small brand deals and affiliate offers in the comedy niche.

Surrogate marketing works great for your niche. Mock & troll some weird products so that people find it funny and share it. When they go viral, you can get visitors to the store and get more brand recognition. It should not be negative marketing but should rather be alternative view. For example, shampoo bottle as dildo, key chain as voodoo doll, or a cheaper alternative for a costly product that works better, etc. You can also create an ad (using AI) with a hidden meaning and expose it yourself through your page. If it strikes the right cord, it'll go viral. However, you need a lot of creativity to go viral. You can either sell these products yourself or promote them for an affiliate commission or profit-share. Affiliate income would be relatively less and complicated as it's not direct marketing.

At 5k followers, skip Meta's own monetization n go straight to sponsored posts/shoutouts for small local Brazilian brands instead

5k is enough tbh. I’ve seen small comedy pages make decent money from affiliate stuff if the reach is good. Is most of your traffic from Reels or meme posts?

If the page is growing consistently at 5k, I would start with affiliate or selling a product or service. I have seen pages under 10k make more money than much bigger pages when the niche is right.
I would first check what the Brazilian audience is actually engaging with, then choose the monetization method instead of pushing ads too quickly

5k followers is a great start—especially for your first page that’s taking off. I’d focus on affiliate offers, sponsored posts, and selling a simple digital product. If the engagement is strong, you can monetize even before hitting 10k.

thank you all reply guys, the page is now 7k followers and growing strong, now I trying to monetize with funny products from shoppe, wish me luck

I think you should focus on creating funny or experience-based Reels. Good Reels can help your page grow very quickly and allow you to monetize your content directly through Facebook.

Congrats on the growth at 5k I'd test sponsored posts affiliate offers & paid shoutouts. Since it's a brazil focused audience local businesses could be a good fit. Track engagement & conversions to see what works best

Comes down to who your audience is and what they would buy. First see if Facebook will pay you directly for a comedy account (FB monetization). Besides that, other people have said it - sponsored post or reels

I believe sponsored posts is the best way to monetize the page, because you can negotiate/increase the price depending on who wants you to sponsored them.
