Has anyone figured out how LinkedIn’s search restriction actually works?

My account was limited after what they called “too many searches,” and now I only get 4 results when searching until next month. LinkedIn says the limit depends mainly on searches that lead to profile views, along with overall profile and search-page views.

Has anyone tested different search/view patterns to understand the real threshold or algorithm?

From what I’ve seen, spacing out searches and avoiding opening too many profiles at once seems to reduce the chances of hitting the limit.

That makes sense. Spacing out searches and keeping activity natural seems like a better approach than doing too many searches in a short period. It would be interesting to know if anyone has tested specific limits over time.

Yep, happened to me before. I never knew what triggered it exactly, just suddenly got way fewer results lol.
Same here! The limits seem pretty unpredictable. One day everything works normally, then suddenly you’re getting only a few results.
