Yes, I’d prioritize relevance over DA/DR. I first check the site’s niche, content topics, organic traffic, and whether its audience matches my website. A relevant site with real traffic is usually more valuable than a high-DA site with no topical connection.

i think while getting guestposts or backlinks we must check that is website is good in quality or is it niche relevent to my site, many guest post providers make spammy sites increase their da dr by fake methods and sell posts on them so we must check that is that has has referring domains and backlinks history

That’s the case here as well, DR is just a rapid filter rather than a deciding tool. Relevance, organic traffic and outbound links speak louder to me about a website being useful.
 
For me, I would first see if the link actually makes sense on the page. I don’t worry too much about DR if the site is relevant and the link fits naturally with the content.
 
relevance for sure, i've seen DR70 sites with zero real traffic do nothing for rankings compared to a niche-relevant DR25 site
 
I’d mainly check 4 things: niche relevance, real organic traffic, quality of the linking page, and natural link placement. DR can be a useful reference, but I wouldn’t use it as the main deciding factor.

I’d put alwys relevance first. Check site’s topical focus, visiblty, nd link fits naturlly within useful content. just haven of high dr site with no topical connection less appealing than relevant site with genuine visibility.
 
That’s a practical way to assess relevance. Looking at the site’s actual topics and content first gives much more context before relying on traffic or DR/DA.

anchors, domain topic relevancy and actual organic traffic data are so much more important than bloated metrics, IMO.

I am concerned about where links appears rather than just DR in terms of relevance, indexation, real traffic, gud outbound profile... and then comes the authority.

tbh i check the linking page itself and not only the domain bcz if the linking page has niche traffic and it naturally links out then thats what i retain
 
I’d look at relevance first, then check the site’s traffic, content quality, and overall link profile. DA/DR is useful, but not the only factor.
 
I also check the actual pages before deciding if the content fits naturally with my site and the page looks useful to readers that is good sign for me.
