Imo branded search queries are more the out come of effective marketing than something which needs to be forced upon others. If u are being searched for that is definitely not some thing that can be faked and most probably indicates branding success.

I’d make brand building part of SEO, but not necessarily “branded searches” as a KPI to manipulate. If people remember your brand well enough to search for it directly, that’s the outcome of good marketing and SEO working together. I’d rather create demand for the brand than try to create branded searches.

While i believe branded searches are getting more valuable over time i would not consider them an independent seo strategy it is possible to build a brand generate mentions and produce valuable content to boost branded searches among other seo efforts.
