Bought fb account got phone locked, how to avoid/be able to unlock in future?

I am counting this account as dead as I have no way I know to unlock it now as it was made with a number I don't control and bought from bhw.

I got json type data with the account, with email and such logins but I don't think it will be possible to unlock it as phone is being requested.

So if I buy another one how can I set it up before getting locked so that I could unlock it again? Can you make facebook only use email to unlock or will it still ask for phone sometimes? if the latter how to work it? I know about services like smspva but they only give one time numbers. I don't want to get a burner phone for this use. I would like a totally digital solution.

Years ago I used to use google voice for twitter pva but not sure if that can be used for this or if it is still a thing. Are there any other services to do this? trouble with services is you need a static number and static would mean monthly fee. Since I only want to use the fb account sporadically it doesn't justify paying a monthly fee for that. Not like when I was doing daily spamming.

I see the other option on fb says whatsapp but no idea how that works.

Can anyone offer insights?

The safest approach is to set up every available recovery method while you still have full account access relying on a number you don't control will always leave a weak point in the recovery process.

Yea I know but phone number is the fallback isn't it and I don't know a way to control a phone number without having either a burner phone or paying a lot monthly to rent a number online - neither of which I want to do just for an fb account, unless there are other services I don't know about as I haven't kept up with things for the past couple of years.

whatsapp might be the simplest alternative if facebook offers it for that account at least you wouldn’t be relying only on SMS.

Yea but if I don't have a smartphone? Oh I think that can be used on emulator without real phone? I think I did that a few years ago but not sure if it is still the same?

Currently, this type of account lock is very difficult to resolve, as Facebook is enforcing strict measures regarding this issue; you should prepare a more diverse range of resources.

If you buy an account from someone else and it gets locked, consider it lost; since you aren't the original owner, you cannot file an appeal.

i wouldn’t rely on bought accounts with numbers you don’t control. facebook can ask for phone or identity checks again at any time, so the safest setup is an account where you permanently control the email and recovery number rather than trying to bypass verification.
